Literacy Games

Literacy games encourage kids to read, write and spell as well as learning to interpret, decode, articulate, comprehend and express their thoughts.

Reading is a skill that children need in order to develop their thinking skills and literacy skills. It also helps them learn new words and understand what they read. Children who are better readers tend to do better in school and have more opportunities later in life than those who are not good readers.

When children read aloud with parents or caregivers, they get used to speaking clearly and being understood by others. This helps them speak clearly when they want something later on in life. In addition, it teaches them how to express themselves in ways that other people will understand them better than if they just spoke out loud without thinking about what they were saying first!
