Description
Emotion Dominoes
Turn feelings into a game! Emotion Dominoes helps children recognise, name and talk about 20 different emotions - from happy and excited to worried and frustrated - by matching child or monster characters that show the same feeling. It’s a playful way to build social–emotional skills, empathy and confidence.
Why you’ll love it
- 20 emotions, real language: expands feeling-word vocab so kids can say what they feel.
- See it, say it, play it: clear facial expressions make recognising emotions easier.
- Social skills built in: turn-taking, winning/losing gracefully and listening to others.
- Made for conversations: every match is a chance to share when we’ve felt that way.
What’s included
- 40 dominoes (mix of child + monster characters)
- Activity guide with play ideas
How to play (quick start)
- Deal 6 dominoes per player; place one in the centre.
- Take turns matching emotion to the same emotion (monster ↔ monster or child ↔ child both count—the feeling is the key).
- First to place all dominoes wins!
Extension ideas
- Name it: say the feeling out loud when you play a tile.
- When I felt…: share a short story about a time you felt that way.
