Encode Word Building Game

Alongside decoding (for reading) students need to be taught encoding (for spelling). The backs of the tiles are colour-coded to the phases of Letters and Sounds so that beginner spellers can use just the Phase 2 tiles, making simple CVC words. As students progress the other phase tiles can be added systematically.

Made from strong 4mm thick cardboard.

Contents:

• 103 Phoneme tiles (25mm x 25mm).
• 4 playing boards (190mm x 130mm).

Suitable for: 3-5, 5-6, 6-7, 7+

Not suitable for children under three years old due to small parts, keep out of their reach.
