Description
Tangram Kids
An exciting puzzle part-laying game for one player from the age of 5. Children put together the seven wooden pieces to create various figures.
Tangram isn’t actually a game: it is an exciting puzzle, a mystery, a quiz whereby you go on a journey of discovery with 7 wooden pieces. And on this journey, you make cute animals, fine ladies or even fast rockets!
You try to copy a certain shape with your 7 wooden pieces. The seven wooden pieces are always the same ones, but you can make an infinite number of shapes out of them. Let your imagination run wild, and set off on your journey of discovery – our riddles will help you.
Tangram only has two rules:
1. All the pictures will comprise all 7 wooden pieces. No pieces may be left over.
2. The wooden pieces may not overlap each other.
You can find several simple shapes that don’t use all 7 parts to practice with on page 8 and 9. As you can see, you can make them from various wooden pieces. You can see several shapes made from all 7 parts whereby the colours and shapes give you a tip on page 10 and 11. Then – somewhat trickier – shapes without the colours. And finally the black shapes as you can see them as templates in the entire book.
The Tangram riddles are on pages 12-28. The mini traffic light next to the riddles show you whether the riddles on this page are easy, medium or difficult. The solutions to the riddles are on pages 29-43! If you still find the riddles too hard, you can simply copy these solutions using the 7 wooden pieces. Have fun!
Not suitable for children under three years old due to small parts, keep out of their reach.
