World Mental Health Day 2015
World Mental Health Day (WMHD) is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy. An initiative of the World Mental Health Foundation, WMHD is an annual program held on 10 October to raise public awareness of mental health issues worldwide.
This year in Australia, WMHD has three objectives:
The campaign encourages you to head to the Mental Health Australia website and make a mental health promise to yourself. You can write your own promise or you can pick from one of theirs, then upload a photo of yourself or select an avatar. Your promise will be posted on the "Promise Wall" to encourage and inspire others to to the same.
I've done mine, what promise will you make to yourself?
